1170264 2011-01-16 22:58:00 Hi all,

I'm looking to use something like Megaproxy: www.megaproxy.com
But I want to run that myself from my own server, just for myself.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Chill.

1170265 2011-01-17 00:15:00 Glype, http://www.glype.com/ I used to run several proxies with the glype script. if you don't like the GUI (I don't you can make your own or get plenty from the web. Just search for glype themes.

Just note, for some sites you need libcurl installed and it could be a good idea to use HTTPS so its secure when filling in password forms.

1170267 2011-01-17 09:04:00 With glype the web is no longer fascist.

I was never able to get libcurl running properly on my PC's. A mate of mine is running a ''server farm" of sorts with 6 computers in a cupboard under the stairs :D we abandoned HTTP proxies in favour of SSH tunnelling as to make use of kapiti's fiber speed.

Looks to be a free year of the interwebs this year.
