1125721 2010-08-08 10:15:00 Can anyone recomend a joystick brand and model for ms flight 2004.
I plan to get a second hand one from TM.
Heard there are unreliable ones
Thanks

1125722 2010-08-08 10:31:00 I put a genius maxFighter in for a person a few weeks back he gives it hell. Plays MS flight sim (latest version) on Windows 7

Similar to the genius ones here at Ascent (www.ascent.co.nz)- for their price, so what if they dont last forever -- just get another.

1125723 2010-08-08 10:35:00 I use a Logitec Wingmaster Force feedback. I've had it about four years now. Snorkbox (15764)

1125725 2010-08-08 22:30:00 If you can find a MS Sidewinder Force feedback 2 they tend to be reliable and work well flying the big iron in MSFS. The Hitcher (14826)

I have a 12 year old MS Sidewinder J/S which I still use for FSX but alas MS no longer sell them.

Same here. Apart from replacing some internal wiring, it still goes like a charm.

1125728 2010-08-09 00:50:00 I've got a Logitech one, worth about $50 that does the job well for FSX. Can't remember the model #. wratterus (105)
