| 1170148 | 2011-01-16 07:37:00 | My Vista PC all of a sudden loads slow. I login at the login screen and the welcome screen comes up. Then the screen goes black but has the mouse pointer showing. it takes about 2-4 minutes for the desktop to show. The only thing that I have done was try and uninstall adaware. since then I have had this problem for most of the day. |

| 1170155 | 2011-01-16 08:21:00 | If you have any external Storage attached, disconnect it. Also try this -- Go to Start/Control Panel/ADMIN TOOLS/SYSTEM CONFIGURATION and choose the boot tab. You will see a "boot log" check box. Check it and restart computer. OR Press F8 key during bootup, select "Enable boot logging" Once started, go to C:\Windows Directory, and look for ntbtlog.txt ( I think thats the location) Other wise Click the start orb, and type: ntbtlog.txt Open it, and what does it say ? |
