| 1171304 | 2011-01-21 01:14:00 | Uninstalled Nero 8 that came with my Dell computer, then following the required reboot the computer will no longer load the Vista operating system. There were a few error messages during the uninstall that could have indicated there was going to be a problem, ie: registry & configuration files Have tried to start with the Dell interface instructions: F2 = setup F12 = boot menu But there is no response Also, the usual F8 but also no go Tried the Dell/ Vista re-install disk, but the computer is not acknowledging the DVD Drive Help! - where do I go from there Thanks |

| 1171306 | 2011-01-21 09:20:00 | Try a different keyboard in a different USB port. Are you getting anything on the screen at all, please tell us what errors you're getting if any. Also try resetting your BIOS www.wikihow.com Also test your BIOS/CMOS battery while you've got it out, should be 3 volts DC or so, if it's not, maybe that's the problem. |
