| 1171302 | 2011-01-20 21:40:00 | Hi Team When I set up my new computer I converted my current PST file to Unicode so that I could go beyond 2GB file size. I now wish to search one of my back-up PST files (not Unicode) to retrieve a message. In the past I have simply renamed the current *.PST to *.PS_ then moved the backup file into the same folder and opened it. I am not concerned about the Unicode file, which I know will be safe (and backed up anyway) but will opening the old pst file cause any problems with Outlook itself? The old file is within the 2GB size limit of course. I can do without any computer problems right now. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
