| 1170996 | 2011-01-19 08:11:00 | Windows XP Pro. Outlook Express. Toshiba A50 Laptop. Problem has just occured. Outlook Express sends and receives and does everything just fine but the box if you want to see how many messages are downloading and where the download or upload is upto will no longer open. The tab is there alongside the main Outlook Express Tab in the task bar but clicking it does nothing, just sits there. Clicking the download or send icon in the bottom right corner of outlook express does nothing either other than cause the message box tab to blink with each mouse click but won't open. As it stand now, I don't know if I am downloading one message or 50 and if there is a error, it is no longer being displayed other than the yellow triangle bottom corner of Outlook Express. I know some mail I was sending failed to send but I am in a airport lounge so I am not surprised. Been through the settings and also had a look at the display settings on the desktop but cannot see anything that stands out. All other programs open good as, just the Send/Receive dialog box in Outlook Express. Any idea's anyone. |

| 1170997 | 2011-01-19 08:22:00 | Sorry to bother you nice people. Just stumbled upon the fix. IT tech sitting next to me was curious as to why I was about to throw the laptop at the nearest wall. Not sure exactly what he did but it was in display properties, click click click and all done. Thanks for looking anyway. |
