| 1171851 | 2011-01-24 02:50:00 | For my own equipment I'm shocking, although I do have a access do any installation media you can imagine so it's not really a problem. If there is anything seriously vital I just back it up over the network to another PC. Never had any failures I wasn't able to recover from within two hours and never lost any data yet. I really should make more of an effort to backup though. :badpc: For everyone else though, backup is as necessary as having a PC in the first place. Do as I say, not as I do. :D |

| 1171852 | 2011-01-24 03:12:00 | Then you need to buy Windows or have access to a CD/DVD disc provided the Product Key works. The key on my Toshiba works just fine with a normal XP CD. If it hadn't activated I would have just used a program to bypass that, which I consider perfectly acceptable since the COA is a legitimate one that I paid for. |
