But format the hard drive, it's the only way of eliminating Norton for sure :devil

1171903 2011-01-23 22:23:00 I was trying to remove Norton 360 over the weekend from someones PC . (with teamviewer) .

I could see some strange files in task manager (Norton 360 didnt do anything about them) . I couldnt fix anything, because it kept disconnecting me (probably because of these strange files) .

And the owner couldn't uninstall Nortons, because the person forgot the windows password . To uninstall it .

And safe mode / networking wouldnt work (so, I could use teamviewer) . So, she's probably still online and getting infected (and Norton 360 is still installed) .
