1172825 2011-01-27 00:45:00 Hi guys

Years ago with XP I used to compress my registry occassionally with a special program.

Do you feel it is necessary to do this with today's machines and Windows 7 ?
And if so what program do you use to do it.

It used to make booting up a bit quicker if your registry got bloated.

1172827 2011-01-27 01:08:00 I don't trust anything other than Ccleaner with my registry. I think it's unnecessary anyway these days. As Pctek said, if it gets that bad, a reinstall or re-image is the best way to go. wratterus (105)
