I strongly suggest you man up and take your punishment if you want to be welcomed back (although I doubt that will happen anyway). Back OT, I'll admit I'm a little unfamiliar with the PS3 internals, software-wise, but I'm assuming that the backup manager is some sort of homebrew-style app, and the USB dongle is what lets it execute, instead of being blocked by the frimware. If so, could you make other apps and run them with this chip? you really are a weirdo son. what punishment is there by banning someone? they simply make a new account lol and then get banned again its more fun. Back OT i am very familiar with ps3 xbox internals i was the first person in new zealand to reball these chips. basicly this dongle lets you run unsigned code like the iphone jailbreak which is legal to do. what some people do is use it to backup games which they dont own which is not legal. the next revison of firmware will block this modchip, however every current ps3 can still use it if they dont update, they will not be able to go online though but will be able to play backups and all future games without trouble. they can also use the console like a PC instead of only being able to play content signed by sony. ps stop being a mumies boy.:banana nobody likes a snitch. |

You still have a lot to learn buddy. Funny, considering I'm 19. Back OT Unsigned code... HUZZAH! I've heard of custom firmwares for the PSP that can run the original FW under a hypervisor (or something similar), let it update itself, etc, yet you can still run it as you please. Something similar would be very, very nice for the PS3. Anyway, I have to work.... today I guess. I'm off for the night. |

Something similar would be very, very nice for the PS3. . you are right at 19 there is allot to learn. first thing we learnt to day is dont be a tell tale, next thing we learnt is others may not have same moral system as you and hence are not affected by similar penalties as yourself, thirdly we learnt some people just dont care and cant sleep so waist time on forums. While I enjoyed Colin McRae, comparing console version of Oblivion and Fallout to their PC counterparts they are a major let down . |
