| 1174131 | 2011-01-31 22:46:00 | Hey So my Dads Vista PC gave him the blue screen of death whle he was browsing youtube the other day. It still turns on (usually), but has green horizontal lines across the screen and other little ugly things. I used what I thought was system restore (Im with XP), and now all we get when we turn PC on is the option from Acer Recovery Mgmt to format the HDD and give a fresh install. Theres a few photos we need to get off there first! Doh.. So, can I take his SATA HDD and plug it into a spare SATA port on my PC to browse files? Any pointers much appreciated! |
