1173881 2011-01-31 00:16:00 Hi Guys

I have an ASUS mother board. PC with Windows 7

I backup some files to memory sticks and it takes a long time to backup.
When I put my memory stick in, it says It can go faster if I use a USB 2.00 port.

I would have though that as my motherboard is only 6 months old it would have USB 2.00

Any suggestions ?

1173882 2011-01-31 00:19:00 Install the chipset drivers (which should be installed after installing windows). And make sure USB 2 is enabled in the BIOS. Or delete all the entries under USB controllers, in device manager, then reboot Speedy Gonzales (78)
1173883 2011-01-31 00:30:00 Have you tried inserting the mem stick in a rear motherboard port? Snorkbox (15764)

Model of motherboard, did you build the PC?, is the case old (could be old USB 1 front USB ports)
