1173969 2011-02-02 08:48:00 There are still PC(first anyway) exclusives like Natural Selection2, Red Orchestra2, Diablo3, Mass Effect3, Skyrim to name but a few there's plenty of life yet in PC gaming.

I own both a 360 and a PS3, they're just sitting around gathering dust for the most part with the latter being used only as a PVR.

It's a ~7% difference in framerate for a 40% increase in price (965BE vs i5-760). Sure, the i5/i7 are better performers, but they're not necessarily the bang for buck option ;)

which is the same almost apart from the core 2 duo. The original could run on a pentium.

1173976 2011-02-03 18:31:00 btw does anyone know the performance difference between the 460 and 560. icow (15313)
1173977 2011-02-03 19:23:00 btw does anyone know the performance difference between the 460 and 560.

I'm finding it about 15% faster than my OC'd 460 1GB in BFBC2 atm, which I suspect means it'd be something like 25 - 30% faster than a standard-clocked 460. Haven't really tested other games yet.

1173978 2011-02-03 21:19:00 Bear in mind the 460 has enough headroom to o/c to keep up with the 560 too.

560's are priced a tad too high, 380-400 would be a sweet spot... so imo the 460 still represents best bang for anyones buck.
