There's not one note in it that doesn't need to be there. It's got some lovely melodic shifts in it, yet you can teach a novice guitarist to play it. And McCartney wrote it in his sleep, which just adds to the mythology of the song. |

Quality and quantity is why the music has survived so long and why the band are so respected by so many top musicians since the '60's.
