| 1131700 | 2010-08-26 01:26:00 | Has anyone recently used asb internet banking to pay your auckland regional council rates? There is nothing on my rates form that tells me their bank account number for internet banking but asb has this feature where you can search for the ARC but you can't see their bank account details, just their name. | markh (12164) | ||

I'm sorry I don't bank with the ASB so can't give you the exact details. I'm with the National bank and they have two non-automatic payment systems. A one-off payment requires you to enter a bank account number. A bill payment only requires you to select a payee by name. | AvonBill (11358) | ||

I recently set up a "bill pay" and was a little concerned that the company's details didn't appear even though the company appeared in the list of payees . Upon checking my bank statement and my online account details with the company the payment had gone through when it should have done . Just be sure to enter your ARC account number and your name in the reference boxes when setting up payment details or they won't know who it is from . |
