1131628 2010-08-25 22:25:00 I was lying in bed the other night and (i leave my curtains open) could see the stars, one especially was much bigger and brighter than even venus usually is, and it did seem to have a reddish tinge to it. Maybe that was mars? jareemon (5207)

Yes it most likely was, Mars is quite prominent at present.
Not the size of the moon though...LoL
