2011-02-04 06:44:00 | Lookin for a new Graphics card, I mainly want it to last about a year. I saw a XFX GeForce 210 512MB DDR2 HDMI (xfxforce.com) for sale on trademe for $50 I googled around about it & thought it was alright Will it play recent games (Mass Effect etc) on low settings? or did I just waste my money? Cheers Daniel

2011-02-04 07:06:00 | It will "play" recent games on low settings - as in they will work. Don't expect great framerates though. Also depends on the rest of your system. | inphinity (7274) | |

I'm guessing you're meaning that most games will stutter continually? My computer isn't flash, just want something (with pixel shader 3.0) to last til the end of the year Should I get a different card then? If so, any suggestions on a cheap card that will play most of the latest games (RPG's & RTS), Lowest settings, disabled weather, shadows etc is fine |

2011-02-04 08:04:00 | if you get yourself a decent card now, you can buy another and use multiple cards in the future when you upgrade the rest of your kit. | 8ftmetalhaed (14526) | |

2011-02-04 21:26:00 | You could look at a GT240 1GB if you're willing to spend $120ish (retail). It will be significantly better than the 210, though I still wouldn't expect high quality settings - just smoother play on low settings. | inphinity (7274) | |
