1175173 2011-02-04 04:36:00 Hi.
I want to use the Ralink Wireless USB adapter on Linux. Since Linux does not have the drivers needed for it automatically and I dont have a wired connection in order to get the updates. So im just wondering how to install the drivers. I have two different driver files called rt73usb-firmware-1.8-5.elrepo.noarch.rpm and 2010_0817_RT73_Linux_STA_v1.1.0.4.tar.bz2. The second file is off the Ralink website so its an actual official driver. So if anyone could provide me with instuctions on how to do it, that would be awsome. I plan to use Browser Linux or Mijnpup Linux as my OS.
Thanks

1175174 2011-02-04 04:55:00 I thought the RT73 was an older chipset and worked fine in Linux? Agent_24 (57)
1175175 2011-02-04 04:57:00 Yeah i dont know if it works or not. I just wanna make sure I can get it to work if Linux doesnt have the drivers quark (15122)
1175176 2011-02-04 05:04:00 I'm pretty sure it will work. Just plug it in and find out?

MijnPup is based on Puppy, check if Puppy supports RT73. If it does then MjinPup probably does too.
