| 1174710 | 2011-02-02 09:44:00 | On my laptop running Win XP SP3, the power status icon doesn't appear as it should. I can make it reappear by opening power options, going to the advanced tab, deselecting the "Always show icon on the taskbar" checkbox, clicking "Apply", then reselecting the checkbox and hitting "OK". However upon rebooting it no longer shows. ??? |

| 1174711 | 2011-02-02 09:53:00 | Can you see the icon if you expand the tray icon area? If so, then you need to change a setting to make it always show. You can find instructions here - Organize your notification area (www.microsoft.com) |
