1174414 2011-02-01 22:01:00 Hi all, I'm back....

I'm after a driver for my, poor old lappy. It's a ASUS Model A4000.

It has a port on the side for reading SD cards.

When I put it in Xp has a look and says it can't find it. Nothing usual there.

It says it's looking for a ricoh bay1controller driver.

I've a search and brought up hundreds, but they all want money, so I did a search for, ricoh bay1controller driver download free and looked at heaps, to no avail.

Can someone please help?

:thanks Ian

1174415 2011-02-01 22:06:00 You go to the ASUS site to get them not any other site

Go here and select the model (support.asus.com). Alongside A4000 series. It looks like A4000 is the series not the model

Sorry Speedy, I seem to be/have upset you.

I'm sorry, was not my intention, to do that as you have been a good "friend" on here.

What I was meaning was looking for the sub model on the bottom of the computer, not the website.

I have taken a, close up, picture of that area of the computers bottom.

How does one post it, so you can see what I mean? help:

In the mean time, I've exhausted my self, so gona have a lie down and be back latter.
:thanks:sleep:

1174423 2011-02-02 01:19:00 This is what I see. Thats what you click on. Thats to the right of Z8100. Cant make it any bigger. I doubt its the 4000 series, if it says Z8100. Theyre 2 different models / series Speedy Gonzales (78)
