| 1174213 | 2011-02-01 03:06:00 | Now I'm not one to bash TCL - and I do give credit where it is due, but...I just did an online chat with TCL to find out about getting voicemail on my homeline in Wellington. I assume I can get txt alerts for messages? No. Will the phone do an intermittent ring to let me know there's a message? No, I have to pick up the handset and see if it beeps. It may just be me moaning but feels like this is a voicemail system that's stuck in the 1990s...to me these are two very basic VM options. |

If its off, how would it ring? Also found out yesterday, that once you get the mobile / then turn it on, you're meant to get 3 txt's from TCL . So some data packet stuff can get loaded . Which is what they forgot to do . And I wondered why it couldn't get on the net / or check for updates . Their online chat is crap lol . Most of the time, you have to ring the 0508 # . Because the person you chat to has no idea what to do . I told them yesterday whats the point in having online chat . You dont know what you're doing |

| 1174217 | 2011-02-01 03:40:00 | Probably means have the VM send a txt to his cell when his homeline has a message. | DeSade (984) | ||
| 1174218 | 2011-02-01 19:55:00 | Most semi-recent corporate PBX systems have the capability to email or SMS alerts when you get a voicemail to a Cellphone, many can even include the voicemail as an email attachment which is great for receiving no your Smartphone. Unfortunately you're probably going to need to get a VoIP line with the likes of 2talk to be able to take advantage of those kinds of features FAB. Traditional landlines simply don't have those capabilities. |

| 1174219 | 2011-02-01 20:23:00 | Yes - homeline, txt me when a message has been left on my homeline. Telecom has been doing it for over a decade now?...simple but effective, and I might add as a previous user of the Telecom system, almost essential. Telecom call it Message Alerts - 5 cents an alert, an amount I could live with :) |

I told them yesterday whats the point in having online chat. You dont know what you're doing Hey SG. Funny how things work differently for others...I only use the online chat now, and never even attempt to call them. Having wait times of at least 30 minutes is crazy - online chat I am answered in less than a minute every time, and every time they have sorted my issue or request out on the spot. But that's just me, lucky I guess! |

| 1174221 | 2011-02-01 20:28:00 | lol. I know. It was worse the last time I chatted to them / then called them. It was 45 mins waiting. I decided to wait till the next day. Then finally got someone within 10 mins. And thats how this data thing was sorted on the cellphone. Online chat / was is fine, they answered within a minute. But, they had no idea on how to fix it (the question I asked) |
