1133737 2010-09-01 20:20:00 At work we are working with IE 6.0.3xxx.xxx with SP2. My Favourites I keep in a folder in a personal drive. I've got no knowledge how the personal drive systems work though. I've tried a few times to sort the favourites into an alphabetical order but it just would not do it. The sort function is active (not greyed out) but it just would not move. I thought perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

Any suggestions?

1133738 2010-09-01 23:30:00 IE6!!!!

Does Right-click>Sort by Name not work? Are they already in alpha order (which might explain why they won't move)?

1133739 2010-09-01 23:35:00 Have you tried moving them off the flash drive, sorting, then moving back?
I had a similar problem with some MP3s, doing it that way, was the only way it would work.

1133740 2010-09-02 01:21:00 not a flash drive . The work system is a huge citrix based system, where we all have a "personal" drive and then access to shared drives . No, right click and sort by did not work - tried it, no effect (that was the first action I took) . Not in alpha order at all .

I thought it was quite strange that it did not want to sort but then with IE6 you don't know .

1133741 2010-09-02 01:31:00 Don't worry, I fiddled around and accidentally clicked on an "icons" button and there they sorted themselves.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my cr*ppy questions
