We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids . What in "Hell" happened? Can you smell 'politicians?' |

| 1133063 | 2010-08-30 09:35:00 | At first I thought this was funny . . . . . Then I realized the awful truth of it . Lots of untrue things Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world . We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids . This has been floating around the US for a while . The last time they had no national debt was 1834 apparently so it must have been a chain letter before the internet was invented :D |
