| 1133313 | 2010-09-01 03:25:00 | Thanks for your post. Laser printing is very prevalent in the business corporate these days. I think inkjet printing is more suitable for SOHO (Small Office / Home Office), where the printing demand is not as significant? Yes, I agree with your point. Laser printing is much faster than inkjet printing and its dpi is higher than inkjet, for office use, efficiency and accuracy are the principal concerns for business corporate. But I have to say that the price of color laser printer is much higher than inkjet printers, and its consumables are also expensive. While the price of inkjet printer is acceptable to soho, and its size is small, easy to operate, low noise, if you find the right inkjet media and ink, the photos that printed can be compared with the real developed photos. What's more, the inkjet technology is becoming more and more mature, even the fastidious professional photographers will be satisfied with the printing relsult if they pick a better inkjet printer. |

| 1133316 | 2010-09-01 04:05:00 | Thanks . If I were to buy an inkjet printer, what brand / model would you recommend? In addition, have you heard of the portable versions of printer? First, my opinion only :nerd: HP's advantage I think is text printing, while Epson's is image printing, Canon is more integrated and Canon saves consumables, easy to use compatible ink cartridge; Epson is also ok to compatible ink cartridge and media, but its print head is easy to be blocked, so to some high required photos, you'd better use original ink and media . For desktop size, as we all use Epson in our office, I think Epson is the best among these brands, right now we are using Epson Artisan 800 . As to the large format, I think there is no big differences between Epson and HP . I've heard of portable inkjet printers, both of Epson and Canon have portable, for Epson, seems that it has PM210 or 310; for Canon, it has iP100 or something . |

| 1133320 | 2010-09-01 04:57:00 | First, I have to say sorry, for my English reading is not so good :( If I understood you correctly, your main problem is color casts, right? And seems that you've done a proper operation when you printing . I also have same problem before the ink is out and after the ink is refilled . Sometimes it's all green or all purple, especially when the light magenta is refilled . I don't know why either, maybe there is something wrong with the chip . My solution is to clean the print head for 4-5 times, then the color will be in normal . I have cleaned my printer head, I have had this issue for a couple of years . Are you aware of colour management? . computer-darkroom . com/ione/ione-1 . htm" target="_blank">www . computer-darkroom . com |

Are you aware of colour management? . computer-darkroom . com/ione/ione-1 . htm" target="_blank">www . computer-darkroom . com Yes, I know a little about color management, but not so farmiliar, I got the ICC profiles from my colleagues, when I print, I just need to click the 'next' I can not open the link, I don't know why which color is missing? Do you use same brand ink? Different brands of ink will have color difference I think Is there an option of clean ink cartridge in your printer system except clean print head? If has, then also clean the ink cartridge plz Additional, is it possible that your ICC profile is not properly? how about reset a new one profile . Basically, when I meet this problem, I just need to clean the print head, then it will be ok . How about you change the cartridge? I've consulted my technical colleagues, they said so . |
