Thanks for your post. Laser printing is very prevalent in the business corporate these days. I think inkjet printing is more suitable for SOHO (Small Office / Home Office), where the printing demand is not as significant? 		Renmoo (66)

1133311 2010-09-01 02:58:00 My issue, monitor is calibrated, printer has been attempted to calibrate - printing charts out and the person using a spectrophotometer to create me some custom made ICCs .

I use Photoshop to print . I enable color management in Photoshop and selecting the appropriate ICC file and I disable it under the printer driver so I am not double profiling . I get color casts .

I have used the Espson ICC but they weren't that right either . Using Epson paper and ink . Each custom profile was created for each different paper .

Advice :confused:


I am now liasing with a local colour management consultant to see if the ICC file can be edited or if they could be redone or if the printer I have is not good and dump it .

First, I have to say sorry, for my English reading is not so good :( If I understood you correctly, your main problem is color casts, right? And seems that you've done a proper operation when you printing . I also have same problem before the ink is out and after the ink is refilled . Sometimes it's all green or all purple, especially when the light magenta is refilled . I don't know why either, maybe there is something wrong with the chip . My solution is to clean the print head for 4-5 times, then the color will be in normal . 		fortunaphotopaper (15966)
