What is the chance of unbiased, unskewed 'research' coming out of that shower? As for the so-called petition - no-one has seen the bill yet, only the predictions of the scare mongers like these two and Hugh Barr, who was totally demolished by Linda Clarke on National Radio the other day when he tried his paranoid line on something he hadn't even seen yet. How can you possibly sign a petition on something you haven't seen yet? How is that an informed opinion? What happens if you agree with the bill when it is eventually released? You can't take your signature back then. Strewth, there is one born every day. |

Why sign a petition when you don't know what the issues will be when the bill comes out? It seems a fundamentally undemocratic process to object to something, just because you are being manipulated by people who are trying to influence your opinion based on their own racial prejudice and fear of losing their current hegemonic control of the country's resources. |
