1175716 2011-02-06 21:12:00 PC Wizard shows the following readings:

Idle Temp

CPU Temp: 45 deg C
Core # 1 : 49
Core # 2 : 49
Core # 3 : 45
Core # 3 : 45

Running 3 Programs:

CPU Temp: 46
Core # 1 : 60
Core # 2 : 55
Core # 3 : 56
Core # 4 : 56

GFX Temp: 32 deg C

Is it a little too hot?

What are the differences between CPU Temp and Core Temps? Aren't they all the same?

1175717 2011-02-06 21:24:00 Thats all good....late 70 - 80 I would start getting worried, but even then, 80 is not the end of the world... SolMiester (139)
1175718 2011-02-06 21:25:00 What CPU

Those load temperatures, is it 3 programs running at 15% or 3 programs running at 100%?. Without that info no one can say for sure.

How to spread them evenly? Possible at all?

I dont think so!

1175723 2011-02-07 00:33:00 Diff b/w 'CPU' and 'Core' temps are due to where the temp sensor diodes are. The temp sensor diode for the 'CPU' temp is located somewhere in the middle of the CPU itself, whereas the temp sensor diodes for the 'Core' temps are inside the cores themselves.

So you should just disregard the 'CPU' temp and keep an eye on the 'Core' temps. And those temps look fine to me. Is it on stock cooler?

Yes, it's a stock cooler

1175725 2011-02-07 03:27:00 Yes, you definitely can, even in XP... It's dead simple!

Open task manager --> process list
Right-click on the process and go "Set affinity".
Uncheck the cores you don't want it to use.

Easy!
