Have Windows Mail & Outlook 2003 with a Slingshot account and I can't send email. Receives perfectly, checked server settings, talked to Slingshot and turned off Windows Firewall and Windows Security Essentials, all to no avail. This is a Vista laptop and has me stumped. Anyone had anything like this? |

Are you actually connecting to slingshot at the moment for your internet connection or are you using a wireless connection or another ISP internet connection. |

Connected to Slingshot and internet and webmail working fine. It's as though there is a firewall blocking outgoing data but have turned it off and makes no difference. |

Yes, set as smtp.slingshot.co.nz and I can ping it. |
