1175353 2011-02-04 23:47:00 Hi all, first I would like to thank you all for helping. I am an avid computer gamer and I have recently been experiencing with a problem. While I am gaming (as of now Forsaken World), the computer would randomly go into sleep mode (displaying autodetect analog input, entering power save) with the blue light turning orange. Obviously, as this happens while I'm gaming, it can't possibly been a natural sleep mode. At first, I just press the windows button on my keyboard and it will come out of it, so I ignored the problem. Now, however, as soon as I start the game it will go into sleep mode, and no matter what button I press it won't come out. My only option, aside from a force restart, was to wait, and after 10-15 minutes, it would come out of sleep mode as if recharged, and goes back to it asap as soon as I tried to close my open game.

Another weird thing is that it ONLY happens when I'm gaming. It affects both online and non-online games. Everything else (web surfing, movies, music) works fine. So weird.

Anyway here is my specifics:
OS: Windows Vista Home Basic(worst thing on earth) 32 bit
Dell Inspiron 530
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5 HGz processor
3 GB RAM

Please help!

Sorry I'm not very good with computers. Can you tell me where to find those things? I really think you might be on because it looks to be that something is not powerful enough to keeping up with games.

And I tried all the disabling sleep stuff, nothing helped.

1175357 2011-02-05 23:53:00 The power supply unit (PSU) is usually at the top rear of your computer case, the output details will be on a label usually visible when you take the lefthand side cover off, the video card will be mounted in the first/top slot at the rear of the motherboard (you may need to remove it to read the card details); alternatively there may be a label listing the features on the side of the case, another alternative is to go to Dells site and type in your product/serial number and find out that way.

Do you have a Sleep button on your keyboard? Not hitting it accidentally while gaming?
