1134277 2010-09-03 02:52:00 Pros: Probably better than Auckland.

Cons: Probably full of crims like anywhere else

1134284 2010-09-03 20:45:00 Why do you want to move and from where? Have you got a job to go to? I'd be looking at that situation before rushing off. (having done something similar) pctek (84)
1134285 2010-09-07 20:46:00 I'm not into the outdoors stuff Gobe 1 discussed. We (SWMBO and myself) absolutely love this place - it's a city but with a rural feel (although I still fail to see how you can call any place with about 60000 peeps a city). Traffic does not bother me, except the Waiwaikaiho single lane bridge which is a fiasco. Agree with Gobe1 regarding merging but then I am one of the patient ones - always letting somebody else in in front of me.

You get used to the weather, you get used to our parks and whatever. My children, before they left home, thought "NP is the pits" but these days, being a bit older and living in Welly, they would probably like to live here. Suffice to say I had the opportunity to go and live and work in Akl but did not take it - I just hate the place.

Any specific questions KiwiTT_NZ?.
