| 1134467 | 2010-09-07 02:24:00 | All we are hearing by the media is the quake in Christchurch, what about surrounding areas like Ashburton, Lyttleton, Arturs Pass, Otira, were there any land slides in the Southern Alps etc. :) Yes, the silence since you posted that indicates that we are all in the same fog of ignorance. Darfield has had some coverage because of the road and the Deans family homestead, but that has been it. |

| 1134474 | 2010-09-07 09:19:00 | Heard we are expecting a 6.x within the next 36 or 48 hours. I don't personally believe it. First there was going to be a 6 within the first 48 hours, there wasn't. Then they were expecting a bigger than 7 one within 36 hours - nope. Good on them for being on high alert but we can't keep doing it forever. |
