I could not get the option of right click --> format anywhere in Disk Management. That being said, I do not think using this HD as an external is a good idea - after I tried various options the disk seemed extremely hot because there is not fan on it (as would be the case in a tower). So I should probably put the HD back where it belongs and try and format it there. Wainuitech, would one of those two programs I've used to delete the partitions do a bit of formatting as well, or is there an easier way?
