Hi, XP OS - anyone know of any problems with "Disk Cleanup?" (e.g.MS Updates) reason for asking, have run it first on a computer that has probably not been regularly cleaned then on my own which is - the first took a very long time to work through the files (in fact it was cancelled after probably 30 mins because the owner wanted to do some work) so i ran it on mine and the same occurred - slowwwwww - thanks in anticipation |

Use ccleaner. Disk cleaner isnt exactly the fastest program to remove anything
If you want to remove updates you can use ccleaner. Just make sure you dont want to uninstall them after. Because, you wont be able to |

Thanks Speedy, i do use ccleaner but the 1st machine didn't have it hence Disc Cleanup - am aware that sometimes MSupdates can cause problems so am cautious with downloading them - having said that i do download them after a time - |

get the portable version and install on a flash drive along with portable apps, then you can just plug into any PC and run ccleaner from the flash drive |
