| 1175508 | 2011-02-06 03:00:00 | How can i get windows to support correctly case sensitivity for files, as i am working on a website (hosted on linux) that has filenames like this in the same directories (all different files) bob.html Bob.html BOB.html in linux all three can be opened But well in windows it assumes they are all the same file I found this (support.microsoft.com) on the windows Knowledgebase, but really it just muddied the waters of my grey matter |

| 1175509 | 2011-02-06 03:59:00 | Write to Uncle Bill and point out the inadequacy of his OS? edit: I interpret that article as "It's broken in several different ways, depending on your OS version...." It seems rather silly to enable support in the filesystem, but not the OS. Noticeably absent is any mention of Win64, but I wouldn't be pinning my hopes on it. Just use a linux client, maybe ? |
