Using Ubuntu 10.10, how do i install a Logitech quickcam communicate STX, so the mic and cam works with skype? Its ona toshiba L300 and i cant get the built in mic (i think it has one) to work. |

According to this it should work (wiki.ubuntu.com)., It may depend on the version of Skype you've installed |

skype 2.1 beta for linux. So do i just plug my camera in? and do i need to change the mic settings? as im a little lost, since im used to windows |

Just plug the camera in and then within Skype got to Options and test the video and set the mic to the camera one if that is what you want. |
