| 1457081 | 2019-01-01 08:48:00 | I have just discovered that you can upgrade for free (see the link below). You need to show your current Product key when requested. Process is simple and you get the upgrade like the usual updates from MS. Your current key will be changed and I used Lazesoft's Windows Keyfinder to see what the new key is. If the PC had pro on at one stage then home was installed, then it would upgrade Ok, since the hardware has a digital license for the Pro already. What happens with a LOT of these so called free upgrades is a KMS key is used, sure its free, BUT its limited in the amount of time you can use it before you need to actually activate with a real Pro Key or connect to a KMS server. |
