| 1456956 | 2018-12-28 20:08:00 | Hi. Got up this am, did some surfing on my HP AIO, went to hang out some washing, eat my honey puffs, turned PC on again an hour later and got a bug red cross where my internet connection should be on the taskbar. When I click on it, I get a greyed-out Airplane Mode box. I've been Googling this for the last 2 hours and still no success. Most places tell me to turn off Airplane Mode under Network & Internet settings, BUT on the left-side menu there is no Airplane Mode to disable. Doing various searches on the PC doesn't find this either, though clearly in the hour I was having breakfast something happened to enable it, and bugger-up my connection. When I run the troubleshooter all it tells me is to connect an ethernet cable - which isn't gonna happen coz the router is miles away. I'm just running a Network Reset to see if that helps ... Any assistance would be MUCH appreciated. |
