| 1456794 | 2018-12-23 09:41:00 | I have been trying to install Windows 7 64bit on a computer with a 8th Generation Intel® Core i7-8550U Processor. W7 is only supported up to the 7th Generation. The first problem is that W7 does not support USB3 in its standard state, nor does it see the Samsung SSD 970 EVO M.2 card. The next problem is that drivers compatible with W7/Gen8 are very difficult to find. The Display driver is non existent so has to hacked I have attached the instructions of how to do it the easy way. |
