I worked on A4 Shithawks for 2 years I think they only had one I remember it was sharp and the instrument wallahs put a fibreglass cover over it on the ground. A4 probaly only used it for carrier approach.

Shithawks they may have been but God, what a fantastic sound. Just about wet myself at the Napier airshow about 35 years ago when one of them beat up the aerodrome. :)

Level flight at about a hundred feet and then straight up, what a spectacle.
