1460137 2019-04-25 12:34:00 The Kyocera NZ site takes you to the Aussie site as NZ is part of Kyocera Australia. Jeff (1070)

Sorry Tony, should have put a preceding entry to my remark:

"We used Cartridge World for years, but the number of rejected empties!!!, we reverted to proprietory brand name."

1460139 2019-04-25 23:32:00 OK, all set up. Called the number, registered on the website and hopefully I'm all set. Thanks for the info. Tony (4941)
1460140 2019-04-28 22:12:00 Honestly, just throw the empties in the bin. Chances are they will end up in a rubbish dump anyway, either in NZ or overseas.

I used to work in the toner recycling/remanufacturing industry. Like most recycling, it wasnt as clean & green as they would like you to believe .

Well Kyocera are putting a lot of resource into doing nothing. They provide bags etc and when you are ready, they will collect the cartridges at no cost to me.

1460142 2019-04-30 00:13:00 The box and bags arrived from Kyocollect today, via courier. As I said, if it is all greenwash then they are going to a lot of trouble.
It is going to take me at least a year to fill the box, but that's OK.

1460143 2019-04-30 04:55:00 Its probably all just to show a good corporate profile . :)
Some manufacturers do spend the $$ to recycle properly , rather than just send it all to some 3rd world country . And some countries do have strict recycling laws , although most dont.

It could be just to keep the empties out of the local Toner Refillers hands, to try & keep refills off the market . Thats just the cynic in me though .
Costs you nothing to send them the empties, thats all that matters .

I saw an interesting vid on why so many countries were sending all their recycling plastic etc to China .
Turns out that so many container ships were returning to China empty, it didnt cost much to fill them up with plastic & other crap .
Thats all stopped, Ch no longer wants other countries recycling (ie waste). They are still more than happy to sent it to us in packaging though .

1460144 2019-04-30 06:18:00 I saw a video where they were burning plastic waste in the Malaysian jungle near to a small village
I think they must be being paid to burn it in the open.
So it gets rid of it from western countries and pollutes native environments.
Bastards!
Just bury in tin a landfill
