1459161 2019-03-18 20:16:00 Aren't most $2 shops are Korean owned? At least in AKL.

Our local Asian past and present PC shops were Korean owned. But I have spoken to staff at at least 20 Asian import clothing and consumer goods shops in several East and South Auckland suburbs - Mostly Chinese staff. Don't know about Nationality Ownership though. I learnt too that South Auckland Asian clothing won't stock small size jersey's and dress shirts - mainly fat - plus size colored patterned print Hoodies and Tops. Yet they (China) make 1000's of them. So buy them cheap on eBay/Aliexpress.

Bear in mind if they weren't sold in NZ they have likely no hope of passing regulations and could be downright dangerous. (contacts may be junk metal with high resistance, plastic housing may have low impact resistance, low temperature tolerance, etc)

For a start, the ones you linked on Aliexpress have no insulation on the bottom half of the pins. That's an immediate fail.
