| 1459434 | 2019-04-04 05:49:00 | just looking through the proposed changes. the time allowed for submissions has been changed and ends tomorrow at 6pm. tho they probably will not bother to read them, i doubt they have time to. i have not read every last thing and i see comments that there is some weird stuff in there that makes no sense. but the basics that i can see, all semi centrefire rifles will be banned. that includes all mssa and all sporting semi's, including the really old ones that don't have detachable mags. detachable magazine shotguns to be banned (theres only one that i know of). shotguns limited to 5 rounds. all centrefire and rimfire magazines to be limited to 10 rounds. semi rimfires with fixed mags over 10 rounds will be banned (because you can't fit a smaller mag). any magazine over 10 rounds is banned. They havent banned speed or stripper clips yet. |

They are probably right. The fact that it all does not make a blind bit of difference to the ability of a determined nutcase to hurt a large number of people is beside the point. |
