2011-02-09 01:32:00 | Got Chrome and Firefox/Google on the same desktop puter . Using a Home Wireless Network, everything - even other wireless netbook/laptops are running through the same wireless system with no problems . Google/Firefox works just fine but Chrome says that the proxy server is not allowing connection . Does the proxy setting in Google/Firefox not hold TRUE for Chrome at the same time? I set them both at AUTO and yet Chrome says NO all the time .

2011-02-09 01:35:00 | Unknown by me about that. Hmmmm. I thought it was all set in the INTERNET area in the Control Panel - since the card that comes up looks like Windows Explorer. Now I hafta go check that out! lol

2011-02-09 01:42:00 | The IE setting? How come I can have no troubles on Google and Firefox and have problems on Chrome though? Isn't the setting supposed to be global? I set Firefox/Google - actually through TabMix+ with it's card - to Auto. I'll try that after a reboot on that unit. emphasis on THAT UNIT - remember it?

2011-02-09 01:47:00 | By Google, you mean the search engine? Since Google and chrome are the same thing. Did you install the latest version of Java?? proxy classes may have something to do with that | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2011-02-09 01:48:00 | Oops - dropped the ball on that Java thing. But that was yesterday and this is today and there was sleep somewhere in the middle. | SurferJoe46 (51) | |
2011-02-09 01:55:00 | So whats telling you, you need proxy classes. Thats not the same as proxy | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2011-02-09 01:56:00 | Nothing like Lamaze classes I hope. I don't really understand PROXIES.
