| 1135836 | 2010-09-09 22:18:00 | Here in Socal about 1978, there was a break through cable system called "Theta Cable" and this is one of the first groups of their broadcasts. It was purely amateur and inexpensive as the other operative word here. One guy on here - Marcos Habif - the guy with the harmonica, is a very good friend of mine. If you are interested, you can thread through many of the broadcasts they made. Check out #7 if you can find it. This Monday I get another harp lesson from Marcos at his place in Santa Monica - about 2 1/2 hours from here. A lot of this stuff is out-takes that didn't get broadcast though, so you'll see some repeats of songs and stuff. |
