1135512 2010-09-08 21:39:00 Thats quite simple really.
They see $$$ going INTO their pockets and we see $$$ going OUT of ours.

Why didn't I see that,slow witted perhaps?

1135517 2010-09-08 23:45:00 Why is it that our "leaders" see it one way and we the people see it the other?
We pay them to lead us and they want to make their friends rich.

1135519 2010-09-09 05:37:00 That volcano with the unpronouncable name in Iceland has thrown more CO2 into the atmosphere in a few short months than all man's activities for the past 2 years - it makes a mockery of any reduction that mankind can achieve while buggering their national economies and standard of living at the same time.
ETS is just another bloody big tax, for minimal enviromental benefit and maximum economic detriment.

1135520 2010-09-09 06:33:00 while websites like http://www.350.org.nz are a great idea, they're misinformed and are misinforming the public, have a look at how they portay CO2 as a bad thing, and how they tell you things like you should swap clothes instead of buying new ones so that factories do not produce as much CO2, idea's like this contribute to the global recession, because if we're not buying, we're not producing, and if we're not producing, we're not working as many jobs... mOOseCaNNoN (13319)
