Also, on the Local Area Connections, right click them, Properties/ Select TCP/IP - what are the setting selected. This hasn't got wireless as well has it ? One other thing that comes to mind -- This PC doesn't have a Ethernet card as well as onboard does it ? The onboard will be in the area of the USB ports, where as a card will be down lower in the PCI slots. |

2011-02-11 23:22:00 | Try connecting your ethernet cable to Lan connection 1, or turning one of the ethernet ports off (mobo one? in BIOS?) or removing the network card (other one). | feersumendjinn (64) | |
2011-02-12 00:33:00 | In Taranakai . They said it was all jacked up and should be ready to go . I have connected it to Lan 1 and it says it connected - but still no internet access .

2011-02-12 02:17:00 | How long ago did you organise the broadband connection with Slingshot, it may not have been turned on at the telephone exchange yet, can take a few days. All the lights apart from the internet one are flashing, does this mean its a Slingshot/phone connection issue? Have you had an email or letter from them confirming your connection is live?

2011-02-12 05:11:00 | The router could be dead or incorrectly configured, otherwise Slingshot haven't set your connection up properly. | stormdragon (6013) | |
