1176706 2011-02-10 01:24:00 Why not try this, SR Iron Portable a safe/secure version of Chrome no install run from anywhere:

Portable-Version for USB-Sticks (no Installation; no Admin-rights needed; Profiles in the same folder)

www.srware.net

I have had similar problems with Chrome changed to this SR Iron and I'm happy.

I don't mind giving it a go but I'm bloody minded enough to want to know why Chrome has just decided it wants to spit the dummy!! :annoyed:

How did you come across the one you're suggesting?

1176708 2011-02-10 02:16:00 SR Iron is really the same as Chrome, but it doesnt add the crap Chrome installs (to do with privacy) Speedy Gonzales (78)

1176710 2011-02-10 02:35:00 To eliminate the Flash - did you disable it as in the settings I posted earlier, then try again.

If its disabled and doesn't crash, theres the problem. If it still crashes at least its eliminated it.

Sorry Speedy!! That's what happens when SWMBO's banging on about the washing up at the same time :stare:
