But if they are available, do they give really good quality? (I have a good HP monitor connected to a Compaq laptop). I suppose the quality would fall short of an actual TV, would it? which I don't want to buy because of lack of space. |

| 1177566 | 2011-02-12 22:06:00 | It would be very difficult in Nelson as we don't have very good UHF coverage, must of us use freeview through satellite | gary67 (56) | ||

| 1177568 | 2011-02-12 22:51:00 | I've used a ~$30 DVB-T USB stick on my laptop to watch Freeview. It worked fine, plugged into a pair of amplified bunny-ears. | somebody (208) | ||

| 1177572 | 2011-02-13 01:09:00 | If you need help any time I am around home all the time at them moment Thanks gary67, but I am OK. I use my computer mainly for watching DVDs at the moment, I thought I would try TV, but you say it wouldn't work, so that is OK. I have never been a big fan of TV, anyway! |

The quality of is brilliant, albeit me running it off rabbit ears and i do get the occasional "stutter" Might pay to invest in one with a dual tuner, so you can watch one channel and record on another if you so wish. |
