1176768 2011-02-10 07:19:00 Watch out for this (optional) update
support.microsoft.com
It disables your USB devices under Autoplay/Autorun and limits device sensing to optical drives only

This update disables AutoRun entries in AutoPlay, and displays only entries that are populated from CD and DVD drives. Effectively, this prevents AutoPlay from working with USB media.

... which is a good security feature, given the likes of Conficker which spread far and wide via USB drives, thanks to the autorun 'feature'.

Good riddance to Auto Run.
