| 1136287 | 2010-09-10 23:50:00 | Brought an iphone off trademe on MONDAY, emailed him after the auction asking what the cost of shipping was. Heard back on Tuesday evening at about 11pm that he would check out the cost of courier on Wednesday. Didn't hear from him so on Thursday evening I emailed him and said I would just pay $10 for courier. He emailed back within an hour with his bank details saying that would be fine. Paid him literally seconds after recieving his email and sent him my address. Its now Saturday and I haven't heard anything. I HATE PEOPLE WHO DONT KEEP IN CONTACT. (Looks like someone will be getting his first neutral feedback if I ever receive the bloody phone). On the opposite end of the scale, someone requested a buy now on my phone, I changed it and they brought it 10min later. I send them the shipping cost and bank details 5min later. They paid and I recieved the payment the next day and sent it that same day. Brought by them on Tuesday evening and they recieved it on Thursday morning! Why can't all trades be that quick? Oh yea and I was using a mates trademe account ;) |

| 1136288 | 2010-09-10 23:57:00 | Its a bit annoying when people take a while to respond. Personally if doing anything On TM I like to get it settled asap, that way every ones happy. By the looks of it its a "I'll Do it tomorrow" type of person, it "may" have been sent on Friday by courier, which means unless it has Saturday delivery (which costs more) it may not turn till Monday /Tuesday. Might pay to email back asking for the tracking number - not to say you'll get a reply of course. Using a mates TM Account -- wouldn't it go to your mates Address, or did you specify yours ? Edited: keep in mind because of the EarthQuake damage down your way, it may be held up a little. |

| 1136290 | 2010-09-11 00:30:00 | A few years ago I sold something (of significant value - I think it was around $500) on Trademe and struggled to get any response out of the buyer. They'd paid for it, but never replied to any of my emails or given me their delivery address via Trademe. I ended up looking them up in the phone book and ringing them to get their delivery address - they were apologetic and had apparently been "busy" - but it baffles me why they'd pay for an item and then not really worry about how it's going to get to them. |

Sounds like he's trying to BS you a bit. I ordered a 3.5in external HD enclosure on thursday the second, got it on tuesday the seventh. Right in the middle is the quake. |

Right in the middle is the quake. Some post shops ARE affected by the quake, you know..... Although a package that came from Chch was a day late for me..... Don't sweat the respond times, not everyone checks their emails everyday, let alone once every hour or so. I know these days PCs with internet are everywhere, but that doesn't mean everyone do what we do. Just be patient. On a different note, is Chris Carter the MP's partner named Jonathan? And do they have a place in Chch? Cause a guy named Chris Carter bought a motherboard from me, and his email says "Chris and Jono Carter", so I kinda thought this may be the MP, cause you know he's gay and all? |
